Lu Chi Chen Returns With 8-Track 'Height' EP

Lu Chin Chen returns with Height, an 8-track EP and follow-up to his acclaimed 2024 album Dangerous Solution.

The project features classic Golden Era boom-bap production from Front Gamble, Sultan Mir, Conflikt of Hellzwind, Zam One, P-Ro, Tali Rodriguez of Knuckle Dragguz, Skinny Bonez Tha Godfatha, and Fuzzy Ed.

The EP's only guest appearance comes from Thunder Bay turntablist Dystrakted, who adds expertly crafted cuts to three tracks. Lu Chin Chen handles all vocals and rhymes himself, delivering a strong performance throughout.

The lead single, "Cheque It Out," features production by Zam One and cuts from Dystrakted on the chorus and bridge. Over hard-hitting drums, Lu delivers sharp, witty bars in the spirit of groups like Beatnuts and Alkaholiks.
